Job Overview
The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) seeks an anesthesiologist to join our team of 14 physicians at Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. As a 182‑bed Level II Trauma Center, ANMC serves as the tertiary referral center for Alaska Native and American Indian people across the state. With over 30 specialties, we provide a full complement of acute medical and primary care services. Our unique patient population, breathtaking geography and cohesive team make this a one‑of‑a‑kind practice opportunity! Scope of Practice
Perform surgical anesthetics including comprehensive regional anesthesia for a wide variety of surgical specialties, excluding cardiac, transplant, and complex neuro/spine procedures. Collaborate with the CRNA team. Work Schedule
Monday through Friday – 8‑hour shifts; on‑call – two weekends and 10 weekdays in a 16‑week block. Qualifications
Completion of an ACGME/AOA approved residency in Anesthesia; BE/BC in Anesthesiology; collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity. Benefits
