SUMMARY OF PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS : Promotes a professional patient-centered practice image while performing history, physical examinations, diagnoses, and therapeutic treatment regimens as required, interprets lab results all under the supervision and directions of a practicing physician. Utilizes a team-based approach to all tasks.
EDUCATION AND CREDENTIALS Required : Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program and accredited Nurse Practitioner Program. Current NC license. ACLS and PALS or BCLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required within three months of employment date.
Preferred : Family or Specialty Nurse Practitioner Certification.
WORK EXPERIENCE Required : See Practice Area Requirements below. Given training and on-the-job experience incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within three months of employment date.
Preferred : Two or more years of experience in practice area.
