If this is the culture and work environment you are seeking, then EBAD is the place for you! **Job Description**The candidate will be responsible for the calibration of EBAD’s gauges and for providing backup to the Receiving Inspection area. The role is expected to spend 70% of a typical week supporting calibration, 30% supporting Receiving Inspection.**Responsibilities:*** Perform calibration on all gauges that are calibrated internally.* Accurately record the results of those calibrations. Manage in flow of gauges to and from external calibration sources.* Clean, repair and calibrate using standards with have an unbroken chain of traceability to nationally accepted standards and a total summation of accuracy uncertainty with is in accordance with company and customer specifications.* Develop new calibration procedures and revised existing procedures as needed.* Communicate the status of gauges that require calibration.* Support Receiving Inspection (RI) with the inspection of incoming parts and materials.* Maintain accurate, neat and complete inspection records* Keep work area organized and clean and follow all established safety guidelines* Work within a team structure to achieve company and department goals* Perform additional duties related to specific area assignments when requested.**Requirements:**The successful candidate must have graduated from High School or earned an equivalent G.E.D. and has 3+ years of experience with inspection of mechanical components in an aerospace or defense related company or related field.Required experience includes:* Capable of utilizing all standard inspection tools and equipment including calipers, micrometers and drop indicators.* Must be familiar with ISO/AS Quality System requirements.* Must be able to read and interpret Geometric Dimension and Tolerance (GD&T) or to learn GD&T.* Must have at least 3 years of experience working with Calibration tools.* Must be able to read and understand military specifications and industry standards.* Must be able to read and understand English.* Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of management.* Must have basic PC fundamentals, knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.**Desired skills:**Six Sigma Green Belt through ASQ, CQE/CQM Certification program is a plus.
Experience working directly with internal/external customers and suppliers.**Compensation:**Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
