CT State Radiology License Reimbursement – [details omitted] Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities: Follow physicians’ orders and applicable regulations to protect patients and coworkers from unnecessary radiation exposure. Assist patients in positioning and ensure proper immobilization for scans. Verify patient identification, route studies to PACS, and send necessary information to Virtual Radiologic when indicated. Enter demographic information in the reading room for interpretation. Maintain daily log of patients seen. Operate radiologic or fluoroscopy equipment for diagnostic quality imaging. Gather essential information from patients, medical records, and prior scans for clinical correlation. Monitor patient response to treatment and report changes as needed. Provide patient care with dignity and respect; educate patients on procedures. Follow safety procedures including radiation protection and universal precautions. Perform quality control checks on equipment and report deficiencies. Work independently and demonstrate flexibility in assignments. Commit to total quality management and service excellence aligned with the organization’s mission. Maintain knowledge of technology, safety, and HIPAA compliance. Process studies onto CD or film as requested. Maintain cleanliness, practice sterile technique, and prevent cross‑contamination. Familiarize with emergency drugs, booking, scheduling, duplication, and PACS systems. Participate in continuing education and maintain professional licenses. Promote and follow WMG policies, rules, and regulations. Perform related duties as necessary. Cross‑train upon hire to perform applicable modalities. Required Qualifications

New York and/or Connecticut State Radiology License and ARRT Certification. Superior diagnostic imaging skills according to standardized procedures. Excellent patient communication skills. Deep knowledge of human anatomy, proper positioning, and imaging protocols. Proficiency with routine procedures and applications.
