Job Summary
Director of Human Resources – Pyramid Global Hospitality, Santa Cruz, CA.
Base Pay Range $150,000.00/yr – $160,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Positive culture builder within a people‑first organization.
Recruiting, hiring, training, and employee recognition.
Employee relations champion.
Mentor to HR coordinator and property teams.
Wage and benefit administration.
Worker’s compensation management.
Compliance with statutory requirements and California state laws.
Budgeting and coordination of related activities.
Development and utilization of employees through training programs.
Ensure HR function complies with all state and federal laws, regulations, and court rulings.
Maintain all personnel records and HR files with confidentiality.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience (required).
5+ years of Human Resources Director or above experience (required).
Thorough knowledge of California and Federal HR laws (required).
Resort, hotel, or hospitality experience (preferred).
Excellent written and verbal communication (required).
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills (required).
Ability to multitask in a demanding environment (required).
Microsoft Office skills required; Workday knowledge preferred.
