Role Overview This Associate Director, Human Resources will partner with the Vice President of Integrated Supply Chain and the Vice President of Quality for the Specimen Management (SM) business unit. Based in Franklin Lakes, NJ, the role reports to the Senior Director, Human Resources Operational Performance.

Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to VP ISC and VP Quality, contributing to development and execution of business strategies.

Develop and implement short- and long‑term HR strategies aligned with plant and global objectives.

Lead organization design and change management initiatives to support business transformation and growth.

Use business‑case methodology to capitalize on opportunities to lead change.

Provide consultative guidance for compensation and facilitate appropriate compensation reviews in partnership with Total Rewards.

Actively use data and metrics to drive client engagement and accountability for outcomes.

Champion a high‑performance culture, advising leaders on performance management, employee engagement, and leadership effectiveness.

Drive talent management strategies, including succession planning, leadership development, and workforce planning.

Provide strategic insights on organizational health, culture, and associate experience to inform business decisions.

Partner with global HR and business leaders to ensure alignment and consistency of HR practices across regions.

Support the SM BD Excellence strategic plan and promote Associate Engagement and safety initiatives.

Lead manufacturing/quality organizational planning and employee development activities, ensuring strong succession pipelines for critical roles.

Perform special functions and assignments as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, Law, or related field.

Minimum of 10 years of HR experience covering talent acquisition, retention, rewards & recognition, development, organizational planning and design, and change management.

At least 5 years of management experience.

Experience in a mid‑to‑large complex, matrixed organization strongly preferred.

Proven ability to assess situations quickly and develop short‑ and long‑term strategies.

Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder‑management skills across multiple levels and cultures.

Knowledge of local legal HR requirements.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Experience supporting diverse manufacturing and non‑manufacturing clients across multi‑geographies.

Ability to define, design, and develop HR solutions in partnership with business stakeholders.

Strong change‑management mindset and capability.

Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Business acumen and strategic thinking.

Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $157,700.00 – $260,400.00 USD annual. A competitive package of compensation and benefits is available.
