About The Role You will support product development of microwave and communication products within our RF Systems strategy under Aerospace Defense and Communication Group Business Unit.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct analysis and testing to ensure product performance and reliability.
Must have strong knowledge and hands‑on experience in µWave/mmWave measurement techniques and test equipment.
Provide product development expertise, leading system design, development, and implementation of new products from concept to launch.
Design and develop required test hardware from concept to production for the new products.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure product design meets customer needs and requirements.
Create technical documentation such as test plans, product datasheets, user guides.
Independently evaluate, select, and modify standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
Flexibility to work on a variety of projects with various levels of difficulty.
Develop and maintain project work breakdown structures, schedules, and budgets.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Continuously improve product development processes and methodologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of work experience.
Knowledge of the basic concepts of analog RF and microwave electronics.
Strong knowledge of RF engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in CAD software (PCB layout tools, Cadence Allegro) and other relevant engineering tools.
Strong time management and multi‑tasking skills.
Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Desired Skill Set
Hands‑on experience using instruments in the lab.
Coursework or exposure in DSP, Wireless Communication, Digital Communication, RF Systems, RF Circuits.
Excellent analytical skills: critical thinking, problem solving, and data analysis.
Familiarity with programming/scripting tools such as C, Python, LabVIEW an advantage.
Good initiative and motivation in a challenging environment.
Strong team worker within multi‑discipline and multi‑cultural environments.
Self‑motivated and fast learner with strong technical, analytical and communication skills.
Benefits & Compensation The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $108,800 to $149,600. Actual wage offered may vary depending on location, experience, education, training, market data, pay equity, or other bona fide factors. This position qualifies for a discretionary performance‑based bonus and includes medical, vision and dental coverage, 401(k), paid vacation, holidays, and sick time.
