Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines for the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Chief Data Office (CDO).
Interpret and analyze complex data sets using exploratory mathematical and statistical techniques.
Clean, massage, and organize structured and unstructured data, often in collaboration with Data Engineers.
Develop predictive, prescriptive, and NLP models; implement RPA and text mining solutions.
Automate data manipulation processes and facilitate large‑scale data analysis.
Program in R, Python (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas), or similar analytical languages.
Perform statistical modeling and create data visualizations for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Conduct research, design, and implement algorithms to solve complex problems.
Integrate cloud‑based data management, data science, and ML platforms for data engineering and modeling tasks.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum of 1 year of data science experience.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, C++, Python, R, etc.).
Experience in Agile development and Git operations.
Demonstrated application of data science methods to real‑world data problems.
U.S. Citizenship (required for U.S. Government contract).
Desired Skills
Experience working with the Department of Defense.
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in STEM field or Master’s degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or related fields.
Security Clearance
Active Interim Secret Clearance is required (TS/SCI Clearance preferred).
