How You’ll Make An Impact
Design and implement secure network architectures for control systems
Evaluate and strengthen cybersecurity across SCADA/HMI/DCS environments
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet technical specifications
Support commissioning activities and provide technical expertise on‑site
Conduct system integration and verification testing in lab and field settings
Review customer specifications and contribute to project budgeting
Develop and maintain technical documentation and quality assurance
Participate in FAT/SAT activities with customers and suppliers
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines
Your Background
Bachelor’s degree in engineering
3+ years of experience in OT systems, network security, or related field
Familiarity with VLANs, VPNs, RBAC, and industrial protocols
Experience with cybersecurity standards like IEC 62443 or NERC CIP
Hands‑on knowledge of routers, firewalls, switches, and virtual environments
Strong understanding of Windows OS and security tools (e.g., NESSUS, Nmap)
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
