Job Description Primary purpose: Lead the design and maintenance of Sempra Infrastructure’s portfolio model (the Model) that consolidates all projects, delivers 10-year financial projections, and analyzes key variables. Provide accurate, detailed financial statements and key metrics across projects in LNG, Net Zero, Energy Networks, and Clean Power.
Duties & Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, optimize, and update the model, understanding key economic drivers and building high-level sensitivities.
Respond to scenario modeling requests from management and stakeholders, presenting and discussing results.
Collaborate across functional areas—tax, accounting, planning, treasury, corporate development—to ensure methodology accuracy and required analysis.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance, economics, mathematics, engineering, or an analytical field.
8+ years of related experience.
Advanced financial modeling and planning experience.
Advanced understanding of US GAAP and tax.
Advanced Excel modeling skills with complex models.
Advanced PowerPoint presentation, strong written and oral communication skills.
Advanced analytical skills and ability to handle complex problems.
Advanced relationship building skills with cross‑functional teams.
Excellent project management skills, balancing detail orientation with deadlines.
Intermediate intellectual curiosity and desire to deepen understanding of industry fundamentals.
Intermediate experience in the Energy industry.
Intermediate professional proficiency in English and Spanish (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree – MBA or equivalent.
