Job Overview Manages internal and external technical resources, identifies, and mitigates project risks, including data security, quality, and timeframe.
Job Requirements
Facilitating the maintenance, support, and upgrade of existing systems; coordinating and communicating system upgrades, enhancements, and changes with vendors and internal customers.
Gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements for the selection, implementation, integration, and support of enterprise information systems.
Providing management and oversight of multiple complex technology projects and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels in formulating plans and activities to support project implementation.
Coordinating and managing activities related to the design, configuration, and implementation of the organization’s enterprise information systems.
SAP GTS Compliance Management: Own and manage SAP GTS functionalities related to export control, sanctioned party screening, embargo checks, and license determination; ensure system configurations and rules reflect current trade regulations and internal compliance policies.
Requirements & Solution Design: Analyze and document business requirements from the Trade Compliance organization; translate them into robust functional and technical solutions within SAP GTS and connected SAP S/4HANA systems.
System Integration & Governance: Collaborate closely with SAP functional teams, internal IT development, and third‑party vendors to ensure seamless integration and compliant data flows across global systems; maintain alignment with TEIS governance, cybersecurity, and audit requirements.
Application Support & Regulatory Alignment: Provide expert‑level support for SAP GTS Compliance components, ensuring system reliability and responsiveness; implement updates and process improvements in response to changes in export regulations or business strategy.
Project Delivery & Continuous Improvement: Lead or contribute to Trade Compliance IT projects, from concept to deployment, following TE Connectivity’s project management methodology; identify opportunities for process automation and optimization within GTS Compliance Management.
Documentation, Training & Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, user guides, and training materials for compliance users and IT support teams; facilitate knowledge transfer to ensure sustainable, audit‑ready operations.
Desired Candidate
5 years of hands‑on experience implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) – specifically in Compliance Management (Export Controls, Sanctioned Party Screening, and License Management).
Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA processes and integration points, particularly within Sales & Distribution (SD).
Solid understanding of global export control regulations, restricted party screening, and electronic license management processes.
Technical proficiency in Oracle SQL, ABAP debugging, or comparable analytical tools preferred.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on compliance integrity and data accuracy.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex compliance requirements to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a global, cross‑functional environment.
Experience collaborating with regulatory teams, auditors, or external service providers is a plus.
