Job Summary:
The Risk Analyst is responsible for performing research and analytical work for the safety, security, and operation audit teams with a focus on areas of cost management, performance benchmarking, action‑plan tracking, control measures, and staffing requirements.
Duties also include reporting the effectiveness of various risk, security and safety procedures, policies, and strategies by using cost accounting methods. This position is also responsible for the analysis and development of productivity measurements to simplify and/or improve processes, determine performance standards by tracking and trending data, and conducting operations cost and usage rate analyses.
This role has responsibility for: designing, implementing, evaluating, and/or utilizing computerized management reports from the risk information management systems to prepare written recommendations to improve workload balancing, and increase various process efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Create/program/update dashboards, databases and reporting for all teams:
SLA Adherence and trending by customer for proactive actions from operations to course correct
SLA database to house all contractual SLAs and deadlines
Dashboard to track dispute processes and success rates
SLA accrual calculations
SLA validation and check submissions
Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly customer facing scorecards
Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly internal SQ scorecards
MBR and QBR presentations and data collection
Claims Dashboard and reporting by SLAs and exposures
Research Timeliness dashboards and reporting
Maintain data quality
Build reports that notify teams of issues (e.g., teams that changed routes) to drive improvements in operations
Leverage systems, relationships, and process design to drive continuous improvement in cost, quality and efficiency
Maintain positive Employee Relations and work environment, while creating a cooperative team atmosphere of employee engagement
Maintain the highest level of integrity, dignity and standards both on an internal and external basis; maintain high ethical standards and protect the Brink’s reputation by delivering high quality, reliable programs and services which meet customer expectations
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in data analysis and preparation
Intermediate to high level of technical skills in PowerBi, Excel and TableauUnderstanding of project KPIs (e.g., Targets vs Actuals, Baseline vs Forecast)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of experience
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years’ experience in data analysis and preparation
Knowledge in supply chain analytics
Master’s Degree or equivalent level of experience
Professional Skills:
Strong consultative, analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skills
