Massachusetts EEC Infant/Toddler Teacher Certification (required) Experience working with infants (6 weeks to 15 months) in a licensed early childhood education program, daycare, or child care center A warm, responsive caregiving style and understanding of infant development CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire) Some requirements of the role include:
Flexibility to work an 8-hour shift within the operating hours of the school, including opening and closing shifts Ability to spend extended periods of time on the floor with the children Ability to lift up to 50lbs Ability to stand up to 90% of the workday Attentiveness, strong time management, and a team-focused mindset As an Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for:
Providing individualized, nurturing care to infants in a licensed child care or daycare setting Supporting early developmental milestones through tummy time, sensory play, cuddles, and structured routines Ensuring a safe and clean classroom environment by following best practices for diapering, feeding, and safe sleep Building trusting relationships with families by maintaining open and ongoing communication about each child’s growth What Magical Beginnings offers you:
