The Role We’re seeking a highly connected, results‑driven SAP Sales Director to expand Hitachi Digital Services’ SAP footprint across North America. In this individual‑contributor hunter role, you will focus on net‑new logo acquisition, pipeline growth, and strategic engagement across the SAP ecosystem. You should already speak the language of SAP sales—understand the Cloud Choice Flex process, maintain strong relationships with SAP Account Executives and VPs, and generate pipeline through collaboration with SAP and direct prospecting. You will represent Hitachi’s full SAP portfolio, including S/4HANA, Rise/Grow, and public‑cloud solutions such as Ariba, SuccessFactors, Concur, IBP, BTP, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
What You’ll Bring
10+ years of professional services sales experience, including 5+ years focused on SAP software and services
Proven track record closing SAP Rise or Grow deals within the last two years
Deep understanding of SAP’s ecosystem and familiarity with the Cloud Choice Flex (CCF) process
Existing relationships with SAP AEs, VPs, and partner organizations
Experience selling public‑cloud and embedded SAP solutions (Ariba, SuccessFactors, Concur, IBP, BTP, SAP Analytics Cloud)
Demonstrated success generating new business through both SAP collaboration and direct prospecting
Strong negotiation, executive communication, and relationship‑management skills
Ability to operate independently and close multimillion‑dollar mid‑market deals
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and willing to travel as needed
