Business Analyst
San Francisco, CA (Complete Onsite)
Contract (8 months + possible extension)
Pay Rate: $50-52 an hour on W2 (DOE)
Job Responsibilities
Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities by division, department, and class.
Create preseason sales, gross margin and inventory plans by division and department that support product strategies.
Reconcile top down to bottom up division/department plans.
Reforecast sales and manage inventory for all basic styles and style colors to meet department financial goals.
Communicate financial results to manager and cross functional team on a weekly basis and determine pricing actions.
Support Monthly Forecasting by reconciling receipts and working through a financial forecast with action plans to support path to financial targets.
Required Skills
6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
Strong Excel and technical skills.
Must demonstrate strong executive presence and ability to story tell with a growth mindset.
Build constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of business partners.
Possess strong business acumen and strategic agility, able to handle many projects simultaneously while effectively prioritizing workload.
Demonstrate strong listening, written and oral communication skills, able to present ideas and directions that rally others to action.
Ability to assess relatively complex situations and analyze data to make judgments and recommend solutions.
Experienced in building and maintaining item-level forecasts, identifying trends and risks to support agile business decisions.
Experience working with tools such as Anaplan, Pete and MicroStrategy.
