About the job We are looking for a Scientist level candidate to contribute to our Gene Editing Technology activities. This role will primarily encompass lab work, and the ideal candidate will have experience across a wide range of gene editing technologies and is able to independently design, execute, and analyze experiments. This candidate will be comfortable independently driving projects and work cross‑functionally to achieve company goals.

Key Responsibilities

Design, execute, and analyze complex experiments independently.

Present their findings to internal stakeholders in a clear fashion.

Work collaboratively with other team members to accomplish shared goals.

Aid in managing day‑to‑day lab activities/ordering.

Keep a well organised, up‑to‑date ELN.

This is a fully on‑site role and requires in‑office/lab work 5 days per week in Cambridge, Boston.

About you Required Qualifications:

PhD (or MS degree + 5 years) in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.

Expert with standard molecular biology techniques (ddPCR, NGS, molecular cloning, automation, high‑throughput screening etc).

Mammalian cell culture, including primary human cells.

Prior experience with gene editing tool development and associated delivery systems is required.

Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience in building and screening protein engineering libraries, including site‑saturation mutagenesis, directed evolution, DNA shuffling, and AI‑driven protein design approaches.

Excellent organisational and priority‑management skills.

Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
