Reports To Head of Operational Change & Continuity

Position Overview We're looking for a Director of Operations to join our team and drive the future of digital asset trading. This senior leadership role will oversee U.S. operations of our NYSE‑listed exchange, ensuring seamless and secure functioning. You will have direct oversight of the entire trading and client lifecycle, from onboarding to trade settlement, and lead operational functions to maintain governance excellence.

Responsibilities

Lead day‑to‑day operations of our cryptocurrency exchange, ensuring integrity of the trading lifecycle, order routing, matching, settlement, reconciliation, and regulatory reporting.

Collaborate with front‑office teams (Trading, Sales), institutional clients, and technology teams (Product, Engineering) to launch new products and maintain platform operation.

Drive continuous improvement and automation of client workflows and operational processes to enhance platform efficiency and reduce risk.

Develop and enforce operational procedures and reporting to comply with SEC, FinCEN, DFS, and other U.S. regulations.

Lead and mentor a high‑performing team of technology and operations specialists.

Provide oversight to teams managing customer onboarding (KYC/AML) and digital asset custody.

Serve as the primary regulated individual for operations and technology in the U.S., liaising with regulatory bodies such as SEC, FinCEN, DFS.

Experience & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Technology or related field.

10+ years of experience in trading operations, trade support management, or digital asset FinTech.

Deep knowledge of cryptocurrency industry, market structure, and operational challenges.

Track record of managing shared operations in a regulated environment and interacting with regulators (SEC, CFTC, DFS, FinCEN).

Technical proficiency in electronic trading systems, FIX, APIs, market data infrastructure.

Familiarity with digital asset custody solutions, KYC/AML and cyber‑security best practices.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary of $200,000–$270,000 plus discretionary annual target bonus and performance incentives. Additional benefits include equity, comprehensive health plans, retirement plans, and paid time off.
