Dignity Health Medical Group – Stockton, a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation, is seeking an experienced and dynamic founding OB/GYN Residency Program Director to launch and shape our brand‑new OB/GYN residency program.

This is a once-in-a-career opportunity to build a residency program from the ground up, establishing its curriculum, culture, and legacy. As the inaugural Program Director, you will have the unique privilege of defining our educational mission and fostering the next generation of compassionate and skilled OB/GYN specialists. While pioneering our residency program, you will also maintain an engaging clinical practice within our collaborative, multispecialty group. This blended role ensures you remain connected to patient care while guiding our residents towards excellence.

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive compensation range: $350,000– $425,000/year

Excellent earning potential with a 2 yr salary guarantee period and productivity bonus

Job Requirements

Required:

MD/DO, ABOG/AOBOG Board Certified, unrestricted CA Medical License (current/eligible), DEA number

Clinical Experience:

5+ years as a practicing OBGYN Physician

Academic Leadership:

3+ years faculty experience (educational/administrative) in an ACGME‑accredited OBGYN Residency Program

Skills:

Demonstrated teaching leadership, community‑engaged health care research experience, strong instructional and presentation skills

Certifications:

Current ACLS and BLS
