Software Engineer [Multiple Positions Available]
JOB DESCRIPTION
Duties: Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and implement scalable serverless architectures focusing on event‑driven and microservices‑based applications. Serve as a key member of the cloud engineering team, responsible for architecting and deploying robust APIs, ensuring secure and performant RESTful services. Design and configure networking components to ensure high availability and optimized traffic distribution. Develop interactive dashboards and visual analytics to enable real‑time business insights and data‑driven decision‑making. Automate cloud infrastructure deployment using Terraform for consistent, repeatable setups. Implement data migration frameworks for seamless upgrades, handling schema changes and validation processes. Design and develop RESTful APIs ensuring high performance and scalability. Work with relational and NoSQL databases to ensure data integrity and consistency. Analyze and optimize application performance in cloud‑based environments, applying computational algorithms and research‑driven techniques. Develop and document operational procedures for cloud infrastructure and provide recommendations for system improvements. Integrate logging and alerting mechanisms to track provisioning status, detect failures, and enable quick troubleshooting. QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Cloud Service Engineer, IT System Analyst, or related occupation. Skills required: design and implement scalable serverless architectures using AWS Lambda, focusing on event‑driven and microservices‑based applications; develop solutions that minimize infrastructure management and improve application agility utilizing AWS Lambda integration with services like S3, DynamoDB, or PostgreSQL; architect and deploy robust APIs using AWS API Gateway, implementing custom authorizers, caching, throttling, and logging; integrate APIs with Lambda functions, backend services, and third‑party APIs; design and configure networking components including AWS Route 53, Application Load Balancer (ALB), Network Load Balancer (NLB), Elastic Network Interface (ENI), and Virtual Private Cloud (VPC); develop interactive dashboards and visual analytics using AWS QuickSight; automate cloud infrastructure deployment with Terraform; develop Python‑based scripts for automation; build React‑based UI components; work with relational databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases including DynamoDB and Neo4j; implement authentication, authorization, and secure API access using OAuth, JWT, and role‑based access control; extract, transform, and analyze large‑scale structured and unstructured datasets; develop complex SQL reports and automate their production; analyze, debug and optimize Spark jobs written in Python and Java; design and build high‑performance Spark data pipelines; implement end‑to‑end logging, telemetry, and performance monitoring using SIEM, Grafana, Splunk, ELK, and Dynatrace; design Python‑based ETL workflows; develop automation solutions using Python, Shell scripting, and Ansible.
