Salary Grade: Grade 43. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training and internal pay comparison. The above hiring range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and reliable research coordinator for the Framingham Heart Study cardiovascular biobank program under the direction of two PIs. The research coordinator activities include overseeing a survey of participants, discussing the cardiac donation program with interested participants, obtaining participant consent, maintaining the database of consented participants, periodic 24/7 pager coverage, coordination between the cardiac procurement and wet lab teams, and annual verification of continued participation in the heart biobank donation program among participants who have provided consent. Qualified candidates will work collaboratively in a tight‑knit, passionate research team spanning various training levels, disciplines, and degrees focused on understanding cardiovascular pathophysiology. We anticipate on‑the‑job learning and growth and seek individuals who are motivated to learn efficiently for independent work and leadership in this position.
Required Education Level: Bachelor's degree.
