Contracts Manager: The Contracts Manager will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of contracts at TAS including but not limited to customer contracts, vendor contracts, and lease contracts. This critical role ensures all contractual agreements protect the company’s legal and financial interests, comply with industry regulations, and align with company strategy. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, excellent attention to detail, and a proven track record in managing complex contracts within an industrial services and emergency response environment.
Contracts Manager Job Duties:
Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, execution, administration, monitoring, and renewal/closeout.
Review and analyze client RFPs, RFQs, and proposed contracts to identify commercial, legal, and operational risks and opportunities.
Draft, review, and negotiate various types of agreements common to the industrial services and emergency response industry, such as Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Subcontracts, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and Change Orders.
Ensure that all contracts are fully executed, accurately reflect agreed-upon terms, and are properly stored and managed within the contract management system.
Monitor and track contractual obligations, deliverables, and key milestones to ensure compliance by both the company and the client/subcontractor.
Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual and commercial risks, particularly those related to liability, indemnification, warranty, insurance, and liquidated damages.
Ensure all contracting processes and documents comply with company policies, internal governance, and all relevant local, state, and federal laws and industry-specific regulations.
Manage and resolve contract-related disputes, claims, and change requests in coordination with legal, project, and finance teams.
Serve as the primary point of contact for contractual matters for internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with Project Managers and Sales to ensure project execution aligns with contractual terms, scope, budget, and schedule.
Effectively communicate complex contractual terms and concepts to all relevant parties, internal and external.
Lead negotiations with clients, vendors, subcontractors to achieve favorable terms and maintain strong business relationships.
Develop, implement, and maintain standardized contract templates, processes, and policies to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
Provide training and guidance to business units on contract management best practices.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

7+ years of experience in contract management, legal, or commercial role, specifically within the industrial, construction, engineering, or field services industry.
Strong understanding of contract law, commercial terms, and risk management principles.
Proven experience in drafting, negotiating, and administering complex service agreements.
Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
