Overview As an Assistant Store Manager, you will oversee daily store operations, drive sales performance, and foster a positive customer experience. You will lead by example and collaborate with the Store Manager to meet company goals and standards.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding service to our consumers using the C.H.A.R.M. service model.

Build an enjoyable team environment by encouraging suggestions, ideas, and concerns.

Coordinate, delegate, prioritize, and meet store deadlines, ensuring follow‑up on daily activities.

Learn and assist in various departments including consumer service, product knowledge and placement, visual presentation, and stock room management.

Support daily execution of retail operations: POS system management, stock replenishment, pricing and markdown processes, promotion of loyalty programs, and maintenance of cleanliness and recovery standards.

Lead by example and collaborate with Store Management to improve key performance indicators through sales‑driven techniques.

Adhere to Crocs Asset Protection policies and procedures, including shortage prevention, inventory control, and compliance procedures.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.

2–3 years of total retail experience; preference for previous store leadership roles.

Demonstrated leadership abilities and a passion for driving team results.

Proven written and verbal communication skills with store team and corporate partners.

A valid driver’s license and clean driving record may be required.

Desire to succeed in a high‑growth, fast‑paced retail environment.

Flexibility in work schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours; regular attendance essential.

Physical ability to move merchandise, climb ladders, lift 30 lb. or more with assistance, stand/walk/kneel for at least 8 h per shift, and operate computer/register screens.

Physical Demands

Ability to move merchandise with appropriate equipment between backroom and sales floor daily.

Ability to place and arrange items on all shelves and racks daily.

Ability to climb and descend ladders carrying merchandise daily.

Ability to lift 30 pounds or more with assistance daily.

Ability to be on your feet for at least 8 hours per shift and continually move around all areas of the store daily.

Ability to stand, walk, kneel, or balance for a duration of time daily.

Ability to read instructions, reports, and information on a computer/register screens and key information into computer daily.

Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour, dependent on experience and geographic area. Eligible for company incentive program and benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and AD&D, short and long‑term disability, paid time off, employee assistance, and 401(k) plan with company match.
