Lumio Dental - Apply today, and we’ll light the way! As a Learning & Development Specialist, you will be a part of Lumio Dental's growing L&D Team. Our Learning & Development team plays a key role in empowering our organization to grow and perform. You will work closely with and support the Learning & Development Manager in delivering effective and impactful training programs across Lumio Dental and various roles.

This role focuses on content creation, learning experience design, and program delivery, developing training that builds confidence, drives performance, and supports Lumio’s mission. The L&D Specialist ensures that every learning experience fosters skill development, engagement, and long-term success.

Location Remote, with occasional travel (1–2 times per year). We are considering candidates who reside in Oklahoma, Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, Arkansas, Nebraska, Kansas & Missouri

Job-Specific Expectations

Design and develop engaging training materials, including eLearning modules, videos, guides, assessments, and job aids.

Use instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, etc.) and adult learning principles to create effective training.

Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) across departments to gather content and translate complex or clinical information into learner-friendly materials.

Partner with the L&D manager to identify knowledge and skill gaps and align training programs with organizational goals.

Develop storyboards, scripts, and visual concepts for eLearning and live or virtual sessions.

Develop and deliver training programs in both in-person and virtual formats.

Assist with LMS administration tasks, including uploading content, creating assessments, and updating user information.

Support onboarding programs, professional development initiatives, and live/virtual training.

Assist the L&D manager in reviewing and updating current training materials to ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Learning Technologies, or a related field or relevant work experience

1+ years of eLearning design and development experience.

1+ year of experience in training, education, or corporate learning.

Skilled in computer use and proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.

Practical experience with LMS and modern eLearning tools.

Strong communication, writing, and visual storytelling skills.li>

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design best practices.
