The
Electronic Payments Specialist
is responsible for processing of incoming and outgoing electronic payments in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, and banking regulatory compliance.Ensures all tasks are completed timely and accurately relying on knowledge and understanding of departmental processes and service level agreements. Collaborates professionally in a team environment and with other line of business partners to ensure customers are provided the highest level of service. Team Culture

You will perform data entry for incoming and outgoing payment orders from internal and high-profile external customers. You will maintain strict deadlines by adhering to established procedures and regulations for payment orders. You will contact customers for research and confirmations, perform amendments and reversals, and seek approval on exception items. You will assist in troubleshooting systematic issues, resolving errors, participating in disaster recovery exercises, and other assigned duties. You will help train employees on operating procedures and regulations. Education & Experience Requirements
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 1-3 years of experience working in electronic payments, accounting, banking or other comparable environments.Basic knowledge of related Federal, State, and Industry standard regulations. Basic knowledge of electronic payment systems, terminology and acronyms Basic knowledge of accounting principles in order to understand debits/credits and settlement Good interpersonal skills including oral and written communication skills, problem resolution and customer relation skills Working knowledge of bank operations preferred General knowledge of applicable Federal and State regulatory compliance including: Anti-Money Laundering, Office of Foreign Assets and Control, Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act and Sarbanes Oxley, Reg E, UCC4A.
