Overview

Monte Rosa Therapeutics seeks to recruit a highly motivated research associate to join its proteomics group in Boston. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team responsible for target identification of novel small molecule degraders. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently conducting his/her own experiments from sample preparation, LC-MS acquisition, to data analysis, interpretation, and presentation of the proteomics results. The candidate should exhibit excellent communication and collaborative skills for working on cross-functional multi-disciplinary drug discovery teams. Responsibilities

Perform TMT and LFQ based quantitative proteomics experiments from cell culture compound treatment, sample preparation, nano LC-MS/MS to data analysis Prepare biological samples for proteomics analysis and execute protein biochemical techniques (SDS page, Western blots, BCA, LC peptide fractionations) Work independently with minimal supervision to design, execute advanced experiments, analyze, interpret and communicate data in team meetings Prepare and maintain laboratory reagents and stocks Qualifications

BSc and/or MSc in analytical chemistry, biochemistry or related field At least 2 years’ experience in protein mass spectrometry/proteomics in Pharma, Biotech or equivalent Hands‑on experience with Thermo Fisher nano LC-MS instrumentation (i.e. Orbitrap‑Eclipse, Orbitrap‑Astral) Experience in protein post‑translational modification analysis, protein‑protein‑interaction analysis, and targeted mass spectrometry analysis would be appreciated Proficiency in culturing mammalian cells and utilizing sterile techniques is desirable Critical and independent thinking. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Highly motivated, strong scientific curiosity and interest in drug discovery
