About the Department The Cloudflare Dashboard Experience team is a critical part of Cloudflare's Control Plane Product and has the following areas of focus:
Build a cohesive, delightful and self-serviceable user journey through the Cloudflare Customer Dashboard for every single user-across all plans, all personas, all roles.
Aim to provide a product that will allow Cloudflare to experience the next level of growth where users can adopt, onboard, and expand their product and feature usage through the dashboard alone, without going through a human Cloudflare representative.
Tackle different cross cutting concerns that product teams have to manage along with their feature work and timelines. All this helps us to:
Increase developer productivity.
Improve code quality.
Enhance application performance and security.
About the Role We are looking for experienced front‑end engineers to join our Cloudflare Dashboard Experience team. The ideal candidates will have experience working with large‑scale applications and a deep knowledge of system designs. You must care deeply not only about the quality of your and the team's code, but also the customer experience and developer experience. We have growing front‑end needs, so we're looking for highly motivated individuals that are excited to join a team and work with product owners and other software engineers to build scalable frameworks and tooling to create awesome developer experiences and improve developer productivity.
We are also strong believers in dog‑fooding our own products. From cache configuration to Cloudflare Access to Cloudflare Workers, these are all tools in our frontend engineer's tool belt.
Technologies we use include React, Redux, TypeScript, ES6, Remix, Vite, Webpack, Cypress, Go, git, Bitbucket, Teamcity and many more.
Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience
BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent
Minimum of 5+ years experience building web applications
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Expertise with TypeScript
Knowledge of both software engineering and systems engineering
Deep understanding of internal workings of React.js applications
Extensive knowledge of the JavaScript ecosystem
Experience working with build pipelines, artifact management, error management
Experience creating micro frontend applications is a huge plus
Ability to work in cross‑functional teams and collaborate effectively with product and design teams
Strong analytical and debugging skills
Unit/integration testing experience
Experience working with and/or designing RESTful APIs
Working knowledge of internationalization, localization, and/or accessibility
Bonus points for experience with Remix
Compensation Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.
For Colorado-based hires: Estimated annual salary of $168,000 - $206,000
