As an Engineer, you will work as part of a global team supported by our business and architecture partners to help us collaboratively develop and deliver industry leading technology solutions that drive lululemon’s business goals.

A day in the life As a Principal Engineer, you will provide technical leadership for our core set of strategic engineering pillars. In partnership with other senior leaders, you will work to establish and govern the practical and philosophical engineering best practices for all Engineers. You will provide overall technology guidance & mentorship and serve as a subject matter expert for primary business and technology stakeholders in Supply Chain domain.

Create and document the philosophies and best practices related to one or more core engineering pillars.

Partner with Principal Architects, Technology Directors and Divisional Executives to define and describe our future state engineering vision and maturity roadmap

Lead a Community of Practice and associated education efforts for a core engineering pillar

Research and summarize industry trends and practices; present recommendations based on findings when relevant

Ensure relevant engineering standards are created and maintained to support the maturity and reliability of our business systems

Partner with Engineering and Architecture teams to guide platform development to support our product teams in engineering pillar implementation

Qualifications

Completed bachelor’s degreeor diploma (or equivalent experience)inComputerScience, Software Engineering or Software Architecture preferred; candidates with substantial and relevant industry experience are also eligible Twelve to Fifteen+ years ofengineering experience

Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing solutions for supply chain operations, covering production management, logistics, distribution, quality assurance, trade, and data analytics.

Experience with enterprise engineering/architecture practices

Ability to author, evangelize, and educate on engineering best practices

Experience with the enterprise technology procurement process

Experience building, architecting, designing, and implementing highly distributed multi-region cloud-based systems

Ability to learn, understand, and work quickly with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space

Knowledge of large-scale computing solutions and ability to design distributed systems

Compensation and benefits package lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and teamperformance. Thetypical hiring range for this positionis from

$190,200 - $249,600

annually ; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and equity offerings, subject to program eligibility requirements.
