Senior GIS Analyst - Secret Clearance Required - CBP
cFocus Software seeks a Senior GIS Analyst to join our program supporting the Department of Customer and Border Protection (CBP). This position is fully remote and requires a Secret clearance. Qualifications Bachelors degree in GIS, Geography, Cartography, or other related fields Active Secret clearance 8+ years of experience in GIS work with at least 2 years of direct analytical experience Experience generating complex multi-layered printed, digital and web-based maps, creating and modifying template-based GIS web applications, and performing complex geospatial analyses Knowledgeable in GIS and geospatial technologies, best practices, concepts, and experience applying these to law enforcement, immigration, and/or border enforcement Proficient with spatial data and relational database maintenance and manipulation including Esri Spatial Database Engine (SDE) Experience utilizing aerial and satellite imagery and performing image processing, analysis, and exploitation Experience in development of GIS applications and tools Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users, orally and in writing Experience working with law enforcement systems and Esri ArcGIS Pro desktop software
Duties
Provide analytical, cartographic and data management support to produce geospatial products involving a high degree of complexity Perform data conversion, migration, and exploitation activities using advanced processing techniques Assist with project planning, requirements analysis, database design and development, application coding and testing, quality assurance and control Apply complex analytical techniques to disparate data resources to identify unrecognized patterns and trends Integrate and configure spatial data with ancillary data and determine best methods for data display Develop and capture metadata for geospatial data, applications, and products Produce high-quality hardcopy and digital maps Possess working knowledge of Esri ArcGIS desktop and enterprise software
