Position Overview The
Corporate Conference Director
leads the strategy, planning, and execution of all New Reach events — from large‑scale conferences (100–4,000 attendees) to internal, community, and experiential events.
This role blends strategic vision and creative leadership with operational excellence, ensuring that every event delivers extraordinary experiences while driving measurable business outcomes such as brand growth, lead generation and member engagement.
It oversees the full event ecosystem — from concept to ROI analysis — while mentoring a high‑performing internal team and managing external production, AV and venue partners.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Vision & Event Leadership
Develop and execute a comprehensive
event strategy
aligned with business goals, brand vision, and audience engagement objectives.
Lead the vision, programming, and creative design of events to deliver impactful, memorable experiences.
Partner with executive leadership to forecast, plan and manage the annual event calendar.
Define event KPIs to measure ROI, brand impact, revenue growth, and attendee satisfaction.
Continuously innovate to keep New Reach events fresh, relevant and ahead of industry trends.
Event Planning & Operational Excellence
Lead end‑to‑end planning, logistics and execution for large‑scale conferences, workshops and community events across the U.S.
Oversee budgets, timelines and deliverables to ensure events stay on time and within scope.
Manage vendors, venues, AV/production teams and internal stakeholders for seamless execution.
Oversee speaker and talent coordination, including contracts, travel and on‑site management.
Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to ensure cohesive brand storytelling and promotional alignment.
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, mentor and scale an internal events and production team while managing external agency and vendor partners.
Foster a high‑performance, collaborative and servant‑leadership culture.
Provide coaching, performance feedback and professional development opportunities.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Work with executive, marketing and sales leaders to align event goals with overall business strategy.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all event‑related communication across departments and with external partners.
Present strategic plans, performance updates and post‑event reports to senior leadership.
Experience & Engagement Design
Integrate creativity, storytelling and visual design into every aspect of the attendee journey.
Enhance attendee engagement through innovative programming and community‑building experiences.
Incorporate new technologies and interactive platforms to elevate the event experience.
Qualifications
5+ years of progressive experience in event and conference management, including at least 2 years of senior leadership.
Proven success managing large‑scale events (100–4,000 attendees) with multiple breakouts, workshops and keynote sessions.
Strong vendor‑management, contract‑negotiation, budgeting and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
Creative mindset with an exceptional eye for design, storytelling and experience innovation.
Ability to define and measure event ROI and business outcomes.
Proficient in event management and collaboration tools such as Swoogo, Monday, Slack and Google Workspaces.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality or a related field preferred.
Willingness to travel frequently and work evenings/weekends as needed.
