Title: Vice President - Applications & Digital Product Development Department: IT Applications & Digital Product Development Status: Full Time Shift: Day Summary
This senior leadership position is responsible for overseeing the enhancement, deployment, and growth of both clinical and business enterprise applications. The VP will manage the Epic EMR, associated clinical applications, and core business applications such as accounting, procurement, and human resources. The role includes steering long‑term technology strategy, delivering enterprise‑wide application portfolio management, and collaborating with key business and clinical leaders to achieve organizational goals. Duties
Recommend, champion, and implement clinical and business applications and process improvements related to enterprise application selection, utilization, and implementation. Develop long‑term technology strategic plans aligned with the organization’s strategies and goals. Define, architect, develop, implement, maintain, and support application systems that drive organizational objectives. Lead integration activities, setting integration strategies and driving standardization toward a unified platform. Collaborate with the CMIO, Informatics, and business leaders to prioritize clinical application work and vendor strategies. Understand and address strategic and emerging business needs through technology solutions. Integrate technology and application strategy into clinical and business long‑range plans, identifying opportunities for long‑term value. Serve as a trusted technology and service advisor to senior leadership. Collaborate with CISO and CTO to develop an integrated IT organization strategy. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in information systems and EHRs, with at least five years of leadership managing integrated EHR and ERP implementations in a complex health system. Expertise with Epic and ERP systems required; Community Connect experience preferred. Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, organization design, and development of IT transformation initiatives. Experience implementing and supporting data integration platforms and enterprise service technologies. Proven leadership of multiple complex system implementation projects with a focus on application portfolio management. Avid change leader who delivers innovative solutions in a dynamic healthcare environment.
