Job Overview Leidos is seeking a motivated

Cyber Security Engineer

to join our team and contribute to the management and enhancement of CyberArk for Privileged Access Management (PAM) within the Defense Enclave Services (DES) program. In this hybrid role, you will design, implement, and maintain secure PAM solutions, ensuring adherence to DoD cybersecurity policies and supporting Risk Management Framework activities. The position requires 1‑2 days per week on-site at Ft Meade.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in the implementation, configuration, and integration of CyberArk components (Vault, Privileged Session Manager, Application Identity Manager).

Develop secure PAM architectures, procedures, and policies, following security best practices.

Align PAM solutions with DoD RMF, NIST standards, and other compliance requirements.

Provide technical support for audits, accreditation, and compliance activities related to privileged access.

Collaborate with security engineers, system administrators, and developers to strengthen access control systems.

Maintain, troubleshoot, and tune CyberArk systems and services.

Develop and maintain scripts to automate PAM tasks and improve efficiency.

Required Qualifications

DoD Secret clearance or higher.

Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education, work experience, and/or military service.

Current DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+).

Hands‑on experience with CyberArk PAM solutions.

Solid understanding of privileged access management concepts and best practices.

Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python) for automation.

Knowledge of DoD RMF and NIST cybersecurity standards.

Desired Qualifications

CyberArk Sentry or Guardian certification.

Experience with DISA environments or Fourth Estate agencies.

Background working in technical teams.

Advanced degree in cybersecurity or related field.

Experience integrating CyberArk with other security tools (SIEM, ticketing).

Experience implementing least privilege access controls.

Compensation Base pay range: $85,150.00 – $153,925.00 per year.
