About the Role The Director of Nursing in the Health Care Services sector plays a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing nursing operations with a specialized focus on addiction recovery. Minimum Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree; Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Demonstrated knowledge of addiction recovery principles, nursing best practices, and healthcare regulatory requirements.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Certification in Addiction Nursing (e.g., Certified Addictions Registered Nurse - CARN).

Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and data-driven quality improvement initiatives.

Advanced training or certification in healthcare management or administration.

Proven success in interdisciplinary team leadership and program development in addiction recovery services.

Familiarity with grant writing and funding acquisition for healthcare programs.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the nursing department with a focus on addiction recovery programs, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to clinical standards.

Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies and procedures that support effective addiction recovery treatment and patient safety.
