Baldwin Supply Company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator. This position is located at the Fridley Lightweight Belt Shop and will be responsible for the management and optimization of the inventory control processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a passion for accuracy to ensure the inventory levels are maintained efficiently. This position is vital to the supply chain, requiring collaboration with purchasing, sales, and warehouse teams to guarantee optimal stock availability.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy. Reconcile inventory discrepancies by investigating root causes and implementing corrective procedures. Monitor and analyze inventory levels, usage, and demand to prevent stock shortages or overstocking. Oversee the receiving, inspection, and proper storage of incoming shipments to ensure product integrity. Generate and present reports on inventory performance, shrink, and accuracy to management. Required Qualifications
2-4 years of experience with inventory control, warehouse, and logistics environments. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional organizational abilities and strong attention to detail. Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with multiple departments. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities. Experience with inventory management systems, knowledge of inventory control methods, and experience with barcode scanners is a plus. This position will require candidates to be able to sit, stand, walk for extended periods of time. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis is also required.
