Turning Point Global Solutions LLC (TurningPoint) is seeking a
Senior Project Manager
to support the management, coordination, and communication of our government client
Public Safety Projects . The successful candidate will have proven experience managing projects in the Public Safety domain and hold an active PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Work Location Towson, Maryland with hybrid option.
What You’ll Do As a Senior Project Manager, you will:
Manage assigned Public Safety (e.g. Police, Fire, 911, Corrections) technology projects, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
Perform day‑to‑day project management activities, including tracking progress, identifying issues and risks, and recommending effective mitigation strategies.
Ensure all project work remains within scope, meets requirements, and is delivered on time and within budget.
Identify and manage project critical paths, milestones, testing phases, and acceptance criteria.
Recommend and implement solutions to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance performance levels.
Monitor and resolve project issues, maintaining accurate and timely status reports for stakeholders.
Prepare and deliver clear, professional communications, including written documentation, reports, and presentations.
Develop agendas, prepare meeting handouts, and facilitate productive project meetings.
What We’re Looking For To thrive and excel in this role, candidate should demonstrate the following:
Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications
Minimum of
seven (7)
years of successful project management experience leading large, high‑profile, and sensitive initiatives.
Bachelor’s Degree
in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
Project Management Professional (PMP) current/active certification
from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Demonstrated experience managing business process implementations, as well as software and/or hardware implementation and upgrade projects, using
Waterfall
and/or
Agile
methodologies.
Strong experience creating and managing
project documentation
consistent with PMI standards.
Proven ability to create and manage
project deliverables
across the
Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) .
Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word.
Experience developing and delivering
executive‑level presentations
and communications.
Exceptional
organization, coordination, and time management skills .
Excellent
oral and written communication skills .
Certification Requirement Candidate must currently hold a
Project, Program, Portfolio, or Agile management certification
from the
Project Management Institute (PMI) .
Preferred Education, Skills, and Qualifications
Experience managing projects using Microsoft Project Server and SharePoint.
Previous experience working in a government entity (Federal, State or Local).
Experience with development, management, communication and support of public safety systems.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $70 to $80 per hour OR $120,000 to $140,000 per year. This range is a general guideline only as compensation decisions are based on relevant experience and educational qualifications.
