Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist

Job Description

We are excited to offer a dynamic opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Specialist role with a focus on sourcing and pipelining activities. This virtual position supports multiple teams within our organization and is ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and bring a strategic mindset to hiring. Initially, this is a 4 to 5-month contract, with the potential to extend on a quarterly basis, up to 18 months.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs.

  • Perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using computer database, networking, Internet recruiting resources, cold calls, media, and employee referrals.

  • Screen applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, and job skills.

  • Contact applicants to inform them of employment possibilities, consideration, and selection.

  • Inform potential applicants about facilities, operations, benefits, and job or career opportunities in the organization.

Essential Skills

  • 6+ years of talent acquisition experience in a sourcing or recruiting capacity or a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field.

  • Good understanding of talent markets and candidate profiles, with the ability to develop a strategy to achieve hiring objectives under tight deadlines.

  • Fluent in advanced sourcing strategies, with proficiency across platforms such as LinkedIn, GitHub, Google Scholar, Hugging Face, and other open-source communities.

  • Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn Insights, and other sourcing tools, including creating sourcing strategies.

  • Market analytics skills, understanding the market for the roles they are hiring for, and articulating to recruiters, internal sponsors, and leadership.

  • Ability to consistently deliver qualified, calibrated talent, targeting at least 30 tech-screened candidates for volume pipelines or 15 deeply qualified candidates for more specialized, high-bar roles per month.

  • Previous experience with computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • LinkedIn Certification.

  • Experience recruiting for a large technology company.

Work Environment

This is a remote contract role with an initial term of 4 to 5 months, extendable up to 18 months. The position requires a strategic approach to talent acquisition, focusing on sourcing Engineering and Go-to-Market talent. It offers the flexibility to work virtually, supporting a fast-paced environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $42.00/hr.
