The Department of Radiation Oncology at Indiana University School of Medicine has an opening for a Physicist position in downtown Indianapolis. This is a full-time position and will cover clinics in Indianapolis and surrounding communities. IU's Radiation Oncology faculty includes 11 clinical physicists, 14 radiation oncologists and 3 full-time researchers. Educational programs include a residency program and a radiation therapy B.S. degree program. Join a collaborative and supportive team!
Job Details
Tenure-track eligibility will be evaluated based on experience and fit. The successful candidate is expected to perform clinical service, participate in quality improvement & research and participate in the teaching of students. Schedule Monday-Friday 8 am- 5 pm 6 clinical sites that offer a wide range of clinical opportunities and a diverse patient population Wide variety of academic opportunities in the education and research missions Job Requirements
Requires a M.S. or Ph.D. in medical physics. Must be qualified to practice as a Physicist in Radiation Oncology and be certified by the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Radiological Physics or have completed/currently completing a medical physics residency.
