Summary
Under the direction of the Department Chief, Nurse Leader, or designee, the registered professional nurse provides practice support to a clinical team, recognizes the patient as the central focus, provides age‑appropriate nursing care to patients across the lifespan, and manages care within a specialty setting using the nursing process. Effective communication and coordination with all care entities promote safe, high‑quality care. Decision making reflects critical thinking and evidence‑based nursing practice. Education / Licenses / Certifications
Graduation from a state‑approved nursing program; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Current nursing license to practice in Massachusetts. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required depending on specialty. Experience
Minimum of 2 years RN experience, preferably in ambulatory care or an endocrine setting. Experience with an electronic medical record system required, preferably Epic. Daily Responsibilities
Manage individualized RN schedule (injections, medication/device teaching, diabetes follow‑up/education). Maintain a virtual inbox: triage patient calls, relay lab results, respond to patient emails. Assist provider team with in‑clinic needs (medication teaching, diabetes education). Skills
Strong critical thinking, problem‑solving, interpersonal, and patient interviewing skills. Self‑directed, highly motivated, and able to interpret clinical information, assess implications, and implement care plans. Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work in a rapidly changing environment with multiple demands. Fluent in basic computer skills and comfortable learning new technologies (smartphone applications and cloud‑based software). Maintains high patient satisfaction and effective teamwork. Benefits

7:30 am – 6 pm, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (three 10‑hour shifts). Flexibility on specific days may be required. Job Type
