We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and motivated individual to teach full‑time students from levels 1‑3 and to assess Level 3 Plumbing & Gas Apprentices. As an assessor you will be responsible for the timely delivery and completion of the NVQ element with our Level 3 Apprenticeship qualifications. This job role will include visiting apprentices on site or in their workplace to assess their competence and ability in their trade to contribute to the successful achievement of their apprenticeship.
Responsibilities
Teach students at levels 1‑3 in Plumbing & Gas.
Assess Level 3 Plumbing & Gas Apprentices, ensuring timely completion of the NVQ element.
Visit apprentices on site or in their workplace to evaluate competence and skills in their trade.
Maintain accurate assessment records and provide progress feedback.
Collaborate with the apprenticeship programme team to support apprentice development.
Qualifications & Experience
Hold a relevant Plumbing and Gas qualification.
Proven experience working within the plumbing and gas sector, with current CPD.
Preferably qualified or working towards an Assessor and/or Internal Verifier qualification.
Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
Demonstrated passion for the Plumbing and Gas trade and commitment to high‑quality practice.
Support & Training You will receive a high standard of support regarding induction and the assessor role. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
