Full-Time Medical Assistant

Silicon Valley Medical Development is excited to announce an opportunity for full-time Medical Assistants to join our El Camino Health Primary Care and Multi-Specialty Care outpatient practices in Santa Clara County. As a Medical Assistant (MA), you will play a vital role in supporting our team of licensed medical providers. Your contributions will enhance patient care and improve the overall patient experience. Key responsibilities include: Reviewing and preparing patient charts Rooming patients and taking vital signs Performing EKGs and collecting specimens Updating patients' information in the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) Answering telephone calls and scheduling appointments Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program A minimum of two (2) years of experience in an ambulatory care/outpatient clinic environment is preferred Current certification as a Medical Assistant (AAMA, CCBMA, AMT - RMA preferred) Current CPR certification Experience with EMR (Epic) is preferred Pediatric experience is a plus If you are a dedicated healthcare professional looking to make a difference in patient care, we encourage you to apply!
