Acute or Acute Adult‑Geri Nurse Practitioner .
Responsibilities
Perform H&Ps on newly admitted patients on behavioral health inpatient units and follow through on other medical illnesses.
Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning, as needed.
Participate in agency‑wide training programs and in‑services.
Provide quality and timely clinical documentation, per Joint Commission and other regulatory agencies’ requirements.
Demonstrate proficiency in interpersonal communication and interdisciplinary teamwork.
Treat patients with various types and presentations of psychiatric/behavioral health disorders.
Qualifications Must have at least 3 years prior nursing experience. A psychiatric/behavioral background is preferred.
Must hold a Master’s, postgraduate, or doctoral degree as an
Acute or Acute Adult‑Geri Nurse Practitioner
program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). Eligible for Acute or Acute Adult Geri Nurse Practitioner certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Must be flexible to adjust to the needs of a fast‑paced environment, demonstrate effective problem‑solving skills, and display excellent oral/written communication skills. Previous adult behavioral health and substance use treatment experience is preferred.
Compensation Salary Range: $115,000 to $143,619 Annually. Bonus/Commission: None.
