Director of Financial Planning and Analysis
StevenDouglas is retained on an exceptional Director of FP&A career opportunity, which will provide a short term defined path to the CFO seat, in Austin, Texas.
This is a "working" Director of FP&A reporting directly to the President. The Director of FP&A is a highly hands‑on role, responsible for both strategic insight and day‑to‑day execution. This leader will directly build and deliver financial models, dashboards, and analysis, while also guiding the broader FP&A function. The ideal candidate brings over 10 years of experience in fintech or banking and thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑accountability environment where rolling up their sleeves is expected. They will serve as a key business partner to the executive team—providing insight, driving planning cycles, and turning data into decisions.
Managing a small team, the Director of FP&A will own the budget, forecasting and all things "Finance" in this private equity backed company.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, or business related field; MBA preferred.
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience within the Finance vertical.
Excel expertise.
Presence: ability, confidence and willingness to present to C‑level and PE partners.
