Position Security Officer - Flex Armed Patrol

Seattle, WA
As a Flex Part‑Time Security Officer, you will use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you while gaining valuable site experience across various industries.
What You'll Do
Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures and following site‑specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including those requiring armed response.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activities.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to deter potential threats or suspicious behavior.
Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, visitors, and local authorities as needed.
Assist during emergencies and/or evacuations according to established protocols.
Prepare and submit detailed reports on incidents, observations, and patrol activities.
Minimum Requirements
Valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
1+ years law enforcement experience or 2+ years security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years security‑related experience.
Armed Guard Card or license.
Current CPR certification.
At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
Participation in industry‑specific security training programs.
Driver’s license required for driving positions only.
Compensation & Schedule Pay Rate:
$27.00 / Hour
Schedule:
Daytime – Thursday 08:45 AM to 05:15 PM
