Quality Systems & Audit Leader

to champion excellence across our automotive plants. In this role, you’ll lead the Integrated Management System (IMS) strategy for the Business Unit, ensuring full IATF 16949 compliance while driving continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

You’ll be the key link between corporate quality strategy and site execution — guiding teams, shaping best practices, and embedding a culture of quality that delivers value at every step.

Quality System Leadership

Lead, develop, and maintain the Business Unit’s

Integrated Management System (IMS)

in line with IATF 16949 and customer requirements.

Drive continuous improvement of quality systems to ensure they are efficient, value‑added, and customer‑focused.

Support new plant launches, acquisitions, or reorganizations by implementing IMS structures and standards.

Audit & Compliance Management

Coordinate and lead

internal, process, and certification audits

across sites.

Train and qualify internal auditors to maintain a strong and capable audit network.

Ensure effective

non‑conformance (NCN)

management, follow‑up, and timely closure.

Partner with certification bodies during external audits and maintain strong compliance records.

Performance & Continuous Improvement

Monitor and report quality performance indicators, audit trends, and process KPI achievements.

Lead cross‑functional improvement projects to enhance system efficiency and compliance.

Facilitate management reviews and ensure all IMS activities contribute to business performance goals.

Training & Support

Develop and deliver training programs on quality tools, process auditing, and IMS procedures (FMEA, Control Plans, QRQC, LPA, etc.).

Coach plant quality teams and process owners in applying best practices and problem‑solving tools (8D, DMAIC, 5‑Why).

Support new or under‑performing plants with hands‑on quality system implementation and recovery initiatives.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

Minimum

10 years of experience

in the automotive industry (Quality, Operations, or Program Management).

Certified

Lead Auditor

for

IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 .

Strong command of

automotive quality standards and customer‑specific requirements .

Proficiency with quality tools:

FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, QRQC, DMAIC .

Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean certification (preferred).

Experience leveraging IT/IS systems to manage workflow and quality documentation.

Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.

Ability to travel across plant locations as required.
