Remote Tax Principal (Remote within New England)
Our team is working with a leading CPA firm within the greater Boston area looking to hire a remote Tax Principal to their growing team.
Our Tax Principal will be responsible for serving as a trusted advisor to clients, overseeing complex engagements across corporate, multi-state, partnership, S corporation, C corporation, and individual tax areas.
Compensation : Up to $200K for compensation & strong benefits.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple tax engagements while ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Oversee tax planning, consulting, and compliance for corporations, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals.
Provide strategic tax guidance on entity structuring, multi-state operations, mergers, acquisitions, and other key business transactions.
Review and sign off on complex tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
Serve as a technical resource on intricate tax issues, including state nexus, apportionment, and consolidated filings.
Mentor, coach, and develop staff and managers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing proactive tax insights tailored to each client’s goals.
Participate in firm management discussions, business development efforts, and strategic initiatives to help drive the firm’s continued growth.
Qualifications
CPA license required; MST or JD/LLM preferred.
10+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting, with significant exposure to multi-state and corporate taxation.
Deep understanding of federal and state tax codes affecting S corporations, C corporations, partnerships, and individuals.
Proven track record of managing client relationships and leading teams in a fast-paced environment.
Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Demonstrated ability to identify tax-saving opportunities and provide practical, strategic advice to clients.
