Director, Digital Transformation – Global Procurement
Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Director of Digital Transformation for Global Procurement. This role focuses on modernizing procurement operations through digital technologies, data analytics, Danaher Business System (DBS) deployment, and process excellence.
In This Role
Digital Transformation Lead
– Develop and execute the digital roadmap for procurement, implementing automation, advanced analytics, AI/ML, and RPA. Lead digital platform adoption and integration with IT and business stakeholders.
Data, Analytics & Business Intelligence
– Design dashboards, KPIs, and analytics models to monitor performance, uncover opportunities, and provide reliable insights.
Danaher Business System (DBS) Tools & Coaching
– Champion DBS principles, lead kaizen events, problem‑solving workshops, and coach teams on DBS tools.
Process Excellence
– Standardize and optimize global procurement processes, applying Lean and Six Sigma to reduce waste and costs.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
– Lead a team of four direct reports, collaborate cross‑functionally with Finance, IT, and Supply Chain, and communicate progress to senior leadership.
Essential Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or digital transformation with at least 5 years in leadership.
Expertise in digital technologies, DBS or similar continuous improvement systems, procurement systems (Oracle, Ariba, Coupa), and analytics platforms (Power BI, Tableau).
Proven experience in process improvement and change management.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Preferred Experience
Leading digital transformation and technology adoption in procurement.
Applying DBS tools and methodologies for operational excellence.
Strategic thinking and people leadership to deliver high‑impact results.
Travel & Physical Requirements
Up to 50% travel.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Compensation & Benefits Annual salary range: $210,000 – $225,000. Bonus and incentive pay available. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and 401(k). Remote or hybrid work arrangement is possible.
