As a Senior Software Engineer - Seatmap Engine (d/f/m), you will
Design, build, and evolve
vivenu’s
Seatmap Engine
– the interactive map rendering platform powering seat selection and venue visualization across web and mobile
Architect and implement the
seatmap rendering engine
using modern
WebGL-based
technologies
Build and optimize
data models
for seats, sections, pricing zones, and geometric layouts
Deliver
high-performance 2D and future 3D seatmap experiences
for organizers and ticket buyers
Collaborate on
integrating the seatmap engine into vivenu’s Web Apps and APIs
Develop
design systems that support both B2B creation
(seatmap editor) and
B2C interaction
(seat selection in checkout)
Tackle
complex mathematical and geometric problems
(coordinate transformations, scaling, and projection)
Continuously improve
UX ,
performance , and
scalability
for interactive maps
Contribute to the
long-term vision for 3D visualization and exploration
Maintain high-quality standards (testing, CI/CD, observability)
What you will need to succeed in this role:
A minimum of 3-4+ years in frontend / graphics-heavy web engineering
Proven experience building interactive maps, visualization tools, or complex rendering systems (e.g., SVG, Canvas, WebGL)
A Strong professional background working with JavaScript / TypeScript
Practical knowledge of visualization libraries and mathematical fundamentals (geometry, transforms)
Experience with Three.js, GLSL shaders, spatial data APIs, and performance profiling is a plus
Passion for performance, accessibility, and maintainability in frontend engineering
Desire to thrive in a collaborative environment, and can communicate clearly and empathetically across teams
