Enterprise Data Platform Systems Engineer The Opportunity:

Your ability to interpret current capabilities and translate them into measurable test criteria to ensure mission needs are met makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused engineering solution.
On our team, you’ll work with Booz Allen colleagues and the U.S. Space Force to develop, rapidly deploy, and integrate the next generation of resilient space, ground, and user capabilities across the Space Enterprise to deter attacks and provide critical information to our warfighters to defeat our enemies in battle. Your customer will trust you to not only test, analyze, evaluate, validate, and verify these systems, but also identify areas requiring urgent mitigation up-front and early to develop these systems with advanced technology solutions. You Have:
3+ years of experience working on a space, ground, software, or hardware system Major Defense Acquisition Program
1+ years of experience with artificial intelligence applications or Department of Defense cloud system development, including Azure
Experience mapping system requirements to physical and functional architecture, conducting configuration management of system configurations, and communicating technical concepts to users, leaders, and engineers
Experience with the development of technical specifications, interface control documents, integration plans and schedules, inter-service support agreements, system behavior diagrams, sequence diagrams, and network diagrams
Experience using Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Knowledge of DevSecOps and Agile software development
Knowledge of systems engineering standards, including IEEE 15288.1 and IEEE 15288.2
Ability to be highly motivated to contribute to the DoD mission
Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics field
Nice If You Have:
5+ years of experience in Data Architecture, supporting a space, ground, software, or hardware system, aerospace systems, or Major Defense Acquisition Programs
Experience conducting or supporting space system Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), and System Verification Reviews (SVRs)
Experience with high complexity data systems and data management
Experience performing systems engineering, integration, and testing on space systems
Knowledge of the Air Force ISP Guide, JCIDS Manual, CJCSI 5123.01G, DoDI 8330.01, AFMAN 33‑407, and DoDAF
Knowledge of DoD 5000.01 or 5000.02, and DoD risk management processes
Ability to be self-motivated
TS / SCI clearance
Master’s degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related technical field
INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certifications such as ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
