As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, automating, and securing large‑scale deployment environments. You will lead initiatives to enhance CI/CD pipelines, strengthen observability and performance, and ensure compliance with enterprise‑level security standards. Working across distributed teams, you will drive DevSecOps best practices, optimize cloud infrastructure, and mentor peers on automation and containerization.
Accountabilities
Design, implement, and maintain advanced CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git (Bitbucket), Maven, and Gradle across backend, frontend, and test environments.
Automate containerized deployments using Docker, Helm, and OpenShift (OKD/OCP), ensuring consistent scalability and performance.
Apply infrastructure‑as‑code practices with Terraform and Ansible for efficient provisioning and configuration.
Manage secrets and compliance frameworks through HashiCorp Vault and integrate SAST/DAST tools such as Veracode, Trivy, and Syft.
Develop and maintain observability platforms using ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana to ensure reliability and traceability.
Collaborate with development, QA, and central DevOps teams to standardize and enhance delivery workflows.
Troubleshoot build and deployment issues, optimizing pipelines for speed, cost efficiency, and resilience.
Contribute to the definition and evolution of DevSecOps practices, ensuring secure and compliant operations.
Mentor team members in automation, containerization, and continuous delivery best practices.
Requirements
5‑7+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with proven expertise in automation, CI/CD, and security.
Advanced knowledge of Jenkins, Bitbucket, Maven, and Gradle for pipeline management.
Strong background in containerization and orchestration with Docker, Podman, Helm, and OpenShift (OKD/OCP).
Hands‑on experience with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation.
Deep understanding of security and compliance, including secrets management (Vault) and vulnerability scanning (Veracode, Trivy, Syft).
Proficiency with monitoring tools such as ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana.
Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka (Confluent), and Solace PubSub.
Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash for automation and troubleshooting.
Fluent English (B2/C1) and excellent communication skills in cross‑functional, remote teams.
EU citizenship or valid EU work permit. Availability for occasional travel to Brussels.
