Solutions Architect Analyst
Full?time, entry?level. Sunflower Bank, N.A. is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill this role. Responsibilities Collaborate with senior architects to design and document solution blueprints, integration diagrams, and data flows. Conduct technical analysis and research to support system modernization and scalability initiatives. Participate in architectural assessments during mergers and acquisitions, helping evaluate platforms, integrations, and data migration plans. Maintain architecture documentation, reference models, and technology inventories. Assist in preparing materials for architecture review boards and executive briefings. Coordinate with engineering, data, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure alignment with established standards. Identify improvement opportunities in existing systems and propose ideas for optimization or automation.
Education & Experience
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline. 13 years of experience in software development, systems analysis, or IT operations (internship experience counts). Understanding of core architectural concepts such as APIs, data flows, system integrations, and cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail with the ability to break down complex systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills comfortable summarizing technical topics for diverse audiences. Proactive learner with an interest in enterprise architecture, cloud modernization, and digital banking transformation. Familiarity with diagramming or modeling tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Visio, Draw.io). Exposure to agile, DevOps, or CI/CD environments. Experience or coursework related to data architecture, APIs, or integration frameworks (MuleSoft, Kafka, etc.). Foundational certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner or TOGAF Foundation are a plus.
