Overview Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, is a global leader in clinical diagnostics with a long history of innovation. This role is remote-based and covers the New York area near Buffalo/Rochester.
The Sr. Field Applications Specialist (FAS) is responsible for the validation of new Chemistry and Immunoassay instrument installations to meet Beckman Coulter and customer requirements. The FAS collaborates with customer Key Operators during validation, reinforces training, and ensures readiness. The FAS addresses operational and performance questions in line with specifications and regulatory standards, and partners with Tech Support, Field Service, Sales, and Customer Training teams.
In this role you will have the opportunity to work within Beckman Coulter Diagnostics’ Field Applications Team and leverage Danaher’s continuous improvement system to turn ideas into impact.
Compensation for this position is an hourly range of $40.00 - $46.00 per hour, with eligibility for bonus/incentive pay. The role is remote with travel as described below.
This position is located in New York and will be fully remote.

Responsibilities
Prepare customers for and complete validation studies on instrumentation, including instrument setup, calibration, precision studies, and method comparisons.
Provide onsite and remote phone support to customers for assay and QC questions and provide onsite training for proper operation of instrumentation.
Provide onsite training for proper operation of instrumentation.
Qualifications
Associate's degree with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in laboratory/diagnostic instrumentation or related field.
Advanced understanding of Diagnostics or Healthcare Industry with emphasis on Laboratory Regulatory environment.
Travel, Vehicle & Physical/Environmental Requirements
Willing to work remotely and travel domestically at least 95% of the time (based on position needs).
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50 lb.
Nice to Have
Experience in medical technology.
Experience with Standard Laboratory Practices, including Quality Control, record keeping, and regulatory requirements (CAP, CLIA, COLA).
